AYSO Region 206 is proud to offer the AYSO EPIC soccer program for boys and girls with birth years 2011 - 2018, who have physical, mental or behavioral challenges. These players usually have difficulties playing on a regular mainstream team. A special needs player may be autistic, have attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, developmental delays, lack social behavior skills, have down syndrome, cerebral palsy or limited mobility.
Our EPIC Players have a fun experience playing soccer and socializing with their EPIC friends and EPIC Buddies. They will gain confidence, learn teamwork, understand the fundamentals of the game, and enjoy physical exercise
Region 206's playing structure is a jamboree style, and all players will receive a free uniform and soccer ball. Players need to bring a water bottle and wear shin guards to every session. The first part of each session is devoted to skills training. In the second half of the session, players are divided into teams and play matches.
The season runs February 1 – March 29, 2025. The 8 Saturday morning sessions are 1 hour long, and held at Dan Felix Park on Field #3.
If after the first session the player chooses not to attend the remaining sessions, a full refund will be made.
